WP2 Soil Probe, Air Probe & Communication Submodules is focused on the evaluation and further refinement of existing soil nutrient and gas sensors to cope with the SARMENTI smart multisensor embedded system requirements in terms of lifetime, accuracy, high selectivity, sensitivity, consumption, size and integrability in two dedicated probes, namely, the Soil Probe buried in the soil and the Air Probe that monitors above the ground emission of gases of interest in the agricultural domain. Both require specific packaging in order to capture the substances to be measured and be protected against unwanted pollution.
