WP3 Architectural System Design, SDL & MD Development will translate the system requirements from WP1, in technical requirements for the Smart-Data Logger (SDL) and Mobile Device (MD). From this point the architecture of the system will be designed and broken down in subsystems, submodules and modules. Each part constituting the system will be specified to be compliant with the system requirements. Risk analysis and failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) will drive the design. The SDL will be develop in close collaboration with WP2. The definition of the Verification & Validation (V&V) plan is also an important outcome of WP3 to support the Integration (WP4) and V&V activities (WP6) carried out during the integration process.
